Habitas Caravan tasked HGL with creating an immersive experience in the Moroccan desert by creating and executing a visual concept for their newly acquired space with an on-brand Habitas look and feel while capturing the essence of the unique landscape and surrounds.

HGL was all hands on deck for this massive project that included creative conceptualisation for interior and exterior decor as well as ideation and execution of experiences and resort programming. The Lucky Charms travelled to Morocco where they managed the sourcing, production and custom manufacturing of over 2000 products, working with over 20 local artisans in a short space of just 3 months.

The team worked closely alongside local carpenters, weavers, steel workers, potters and more to create custom-built furniture and decor items for the 40 tented rooms and communal spaces including the reception area, bar, restaurant, lounges, outdoor areas and pool. Unique and special heritage pieces were sourced from local antique stores to bring authentic old-world charm and detail to the space.

The team also conceptualised and sourced materials for the location's experiences and programming that included every touch point for immersive wellness rituals, outdoor dining experiences, traditional tea ceremonies, music events and adventure sessions to create unforgettable moments for their guests where no detail was left unseen.
