Founder & Creative Director
With an eagle eye for detail and a knack for finding beauty in everything, Kara is a multi-faceted member of the HGL team. From creative direction to hands-on sourcing, procuring, production and styling, paired with boundless energy, a can-do attitude and a hustle mentality, there’s is no challenge too big for our founder.
Fun fact: Kara is also Co-founder of Cape Town Bath Bath House – Cape Town’s very first social wellness club.
Co-Founder
With a love for travel and design, Carolina is the Co-founder & global go-getter behind HGL. A seasoned PR expert and head of communications, she’s led brand launches and strategy for clients across continents, blending big-picture thinking with on-the-ground execution. From opening award-winning hotels to shaping narratives that stick, she brings a sharp eye, creative edge, and get-it-done spirit to every project. A Miami Latina turned Cape Town local, she co-founded Happy Go Lucky to bridge brand, experience, and hospitality—one beautifully bold space at a time.
